Natuashish man kept in custody after violent offences
A Natuashish man facing a long list of charges is being kept in custody after appearing in court today on violent offences. RCMP say on Tuesday, 31-year-old Ben Rich assaulted a man with a weapon and damaged property. The man received minor injuries. Rich fled the scene but police caught up with him at a home. RCMP say they were confronted by Rich who held a weapon in hand. He’s been charged with assault with a weapon, 2 counts of mischief, possession of a weapon, breaking and entering, performing an indecent act.
