Gosse says his creation is about whales and their commitment to family, it’s not about the destination, it’s about the journey.
One of Mi’kmaq artist Marcus Gosse’s latest creations, called Whale Family, sits proudly on display on an SUV at the Mini dealership in St. John’s. Gosse was selected by Business and Arts NL after he submitted a few designs. He says his creation is about whales and their commitment to family, it’s not about the destination, it’s about the journey. Gosse has been painting for almost 25 years and is self-employed. He is a member of the Qalipu First Nations. He also used native designs as a background.
