MHA says first responders at a landslide in Corner Brook Monday night are heroes

    Bay of Islands MHA Eddie Joyce says the situation could have been much worse, and thankfully no one was seriously injured.

    Bay of Islands MHA Eddie Joyve is commending the fast work by emergency responders. A major landslide around midnight Monday night swept a vehicle with two people on board into the frigid waters of the Humber River. RNC were on the scene within a couple of minutes and pulled two people from the water, who were treated for non life threatening injuries. Joyce says emergency responders are so valuable to a community. He says the situation could have been much worse, and thankfully no one was seriously injured.
