Immigration, Population, Skills and Growth Minister Gerry Byrne has announced some arts funding in his home town. The Rotary Arts Centre and CB Nuit are getting money to keep things going. He says the Rotary Arts Centre is getting $40,000 and CB Nuit  will get $10, 000.

Meanwhile, Minister Byrne also announced funding for Bay of Islands Radio this past spring, and now we have rebranded to BAY FM and moved to a new location. Byrne says it was money well spent. He says it’s been a fantastic reboot of community here and an incredible renaissance in having our community being able to tell  our own stories, forecasts and news. BAY FM is hosting an open house at our location in back of the Glynmill Inn at 1 Cobb Lane.  It gets underway 11 o’clock tomorrow morning. We all hope to see you here.
