Justice Minister Bernard Davis is welcoming the appointment of the RCMP’s 21st Commanding Officer Pat Cahill. Davis attended a change of command ceremony yesterday in St. John’s. Cahill takes over the role following the departure of Jennifer Ebert who has taken on a new role at RCMP National Headquarters in Ottawa. He says “Of all of his roles within the RCMP, being the Commanding Officer here at home brings him the most pride.” Born and raised in St. John’s Cahill brings more than 32 years of dedicated service.
