    Exciting times for a multiple award winning singer/songwriter from The West Coast.

    Exciting times for a multiple award winning singer/songwriter from The West Coast. Jason Benoit who hails from Fox Island River has headlined several  shows this summer.In just the last year alone he has recieved a Canadian Country Music Award nomination, he has won an ECMA and Music NL award and just recently got nominated for 4 Music NL awards including a nod in the entertainment category for Album of the Year for "The Deadwood", and for the first time he is nominated for an industry award for recording engineer/producer of the year with Music NL.
    Benoit is also in the quarterfinals in a competition titled "America's Next Top Hitmaker". He spoke by phone on Bay Fm with Lenny Benoit and explained how the competition works.
