    A day against hate.

This is a day against hate as we recognize International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia. People around the world are drawing attention to the unacceptable persecution, discrimination and violence experienced by lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people, and all those with diverse sexual orientations, gender identities or expressions, and sex characteristics. Quinn Jesso is with Corner Brook-Bay of Islands Pride. She says we’ve come a long way but more needs to be done to make the world a safer place. Quinn says it’s a very slow journey. Meanwhile, the Corner Brook Bay of Islands Pride Parade will take place June 17th.
