Young people will soon be able to get access to the care and support they need through an Integrated Youth Services Hub opening next year in Corner Brook. Launched in September, Becket is the first new hub outside of St. John’s, which will be operated by Vine Place Community Centre with support from Choices for Youth as the backbone organization. Each Becket hub site is designed to enhance long-term outcomes for youth by offering on-site primary care, mental health services, housing supports, access to education and employment, and community connection. The broader vision is to establish a network of nine interconnected hubs across Newfoundland and Labrador — ensuring youth in every region have access to integrated, community-based supports.
