Health Minister Tom Osborne says a new integrated ambulance service in this province will come with many benefits. Yesterday, government announced three contracts have been awarded to oversee the process. Osborne says there are about 60 ambulance providers in this province now and with a central dispatch they will be able to track every single ambulance in the province. Osborne says they are also adding a new radio system for all first responders.  Just over $581 thousand has been awarded for the consulting contracts.
