Labour Minister Bernard Davis is thanking workers in Newfoundland and Labrador for their important contributions towards building a strong workforce in the province. Labour Day is celebrated on September 4th and each year in Canada on the first Monday of September, is a time to reflect and recognize the workforce as the backbone of our communities and thank them for the many worker protections and benefits now accessible to all Canadians.
