Half a million up for grabs under new Accessible Communities Grants

    The application and program guidelines will be launched this fall.

    $500,000 is available for new Accessible Communities Grants to help communities undertake projects or initiatives to improve the well-being of residents. Municipal and provincial Affairs Minister John Haggie made the announcement today. The new Accessible Communities Grants will be available to municipalities and local service districts. The application and program guidelines will be launched this fall. Accessible communities are a key social determinant of health, including ensuring communities are age-friendly and inclusive.
