Kristen Pittman is the Manager of Indigenous Affairs at Grenfell. She says they’ll raise the “Every Child Matters” flag this afternoon. Pittman says they also have a fully functioning teepee on campus. She says about 20 percent of the students at Grenfell identify as Indigenous.
