Government makes it easier for businesses to do business with them

    The Minister Responsible for the Public Procurement Agency, John Abbott, announced the Newfoundland and Labrador First Procurement Strategy and the Sustainable Procurement Strategy on Monday.

    Government is making it easier for businesses to become a supplier of goods and services with the provincial government through two new procurement strategies. The Minister Responsible for the Public Procurement Agency, John Abbott, announced the Newfoundland and Labrador First Procurement Strategy and the Sustainable Procurement Strategy on Monday. Abbott says both strategies go hand in hand. He says they want to keep that ten percent discount while getting more services covered. Abbott says these new strategies will support local businesses by expanding their opportunities.
