Five west coast farms open the gates to the public this Sunday

    Terri Lynn Robbins is the owner of Robbins Family Farm. She says it’s one of her favourite times of the year and people will get a different experience at each farm.

    Five west coast farms will open their gates to the public this Sunday as part of the annual  “Open Farm Day.” This year, the event will take place in-person and online.  Hammond Farm in Steady Brook, Wright’s Family Farm in Pasadena, Robbins Family Farm in Deer Lake, as well as the Upper Humber Settlement and Rideout’s Farm in Cormack will be open. Terri Lynn Robbins is the owner of Robbins Family Farm. She says it’s one of her favourite times of the year and people will get a different experience at each farm. Robbins says this her ninth year hosting “Open Farm Day” at Robbins Family Farm in Deer Lake. 16 farms in the province will be taking part in “Open Farm Day” this Sunday.    www.atlanticopenfarmday.ca.
