    UPDATED STORY

A family member of one of the fishermen involved in an incident in Lark Harbour that claimed the lives of two fishermen yesterday, is saying some of the information being reported to the media is wrong. Lindsey Swift is the girlfriend of Marcus Childs. Childs and his father own the Miss Jenny, a 23 foot open boat but it did not capsize in the waters near Molly Ann Cove. A mayday call was received at 11 a.m. Upon arrival, the fast rescue craft (FRC) from the CCGS Cape Edensaw recovered two deceased crew members from the water.  Swift says the dory with two men had capsized and the four men on shore were not from the Miss Jenny. She says the two men on the Miss Jenny noticed the smoke from a fire on the beach. Bay of Islands MHA Eddie Joyce says thoughts and prayers are with the families. He was in the community yesterday and met with the families. Joyce says the Premier was quick to get involved, among others like MP Gudie Hutchings. Grief councillors are available in the community at the school and town hall.
