Enforcement officers with the Department of Fisheries, Forestry and Agriculture are asking for the public’s help in identifying a moose poaching incident in the St. David’s area. On Wednesday morning, officers responded to a complaint from the public of an illegally harvested moose. It appears the animal was shot on the roadway between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 7:20 a.m. and dragged approximately 800 meters on the road to a pit, where the moose was then processed.
