Effective today, masks are required in all clinical areas of Newfoundland and Labrador (NL) Health Services. This includes hospitals and health-care facilities, congregate living and long-term care facilities. With health-care facilities seeing an increase in respiratory illness, these updated masking requirements are put in place to help reduce the spread of infection.
