It’s bound to be a memorable weekend as the Corner Brook Royals get set to go against the first place Deer Lake Red Wings tomorrow night at the Civic Centre. A couple of Corner Brook Royals players dropped into Bayfm  for a chat with Dean Clarke this morning.  Tommy Ryan says the season has been going well so far. Robert Mercer says the team is looking forward to the battle. During the pregame tomorrow the jersey of senior hockey legend Ed Kearsey will be retired. Kearsey is also the assistant coach of the Corner Brook Royals. Ryan says he is known as legend. Kearsey played just shy of 250 games during the eighties wearing the Corner Brook Royals jersey.
