The surveys will remain open until Friday on the town of Deer Lake facebook page.

The town of Deer Lake is working on developing an economic strategic plan and officials are looking for your input. Gloria Field is an Economic Officer with the town. She says it’s critical and the community engagement piece is probably the best part of the strategic planning process. Field says whether it’s a resident, someone from outside the community,  or a business rep, anyone can take part in the surveys.

Deer Lake is known as an airport town. Field says it’s important to know where the town is headed and what the vision is. Tourism is huge in the area and the town values its relationship with the Deer Lake airport. The surveys will remain open until Friday on the town of Deer Lake facebook page.
