Council of Federation Literacy Award goes to ABC Life Literacy Canada

    This program has served more than 24,000 learners from November 2019 to April of this year through 680 workshops, home learning activities, and workbook downloads.

    ABC Life Literacy Canada is the recipient of the 2023 Council of the Federation Literacy Award for Newfoundland and Labrador. The ABC Activate Learning program is designed to foster a culture of lifelong learning and reduce stigma. This program has served more than 24,000 learners from November 2019 to April of this year through 680 workshops, home learning activities, and workbook downloads. Friday was International Literacy Day.
