It’s easy to see people in their blue jackets around civic square in Corner Brook on cruise ship days. They are part of the Corner Brook Ambassador Program, which started ten years ago, giving that warm welcome and helpful information to tourists. MHA Jim Parsons recognized these volunteers in the House of Assembly recently. He says these ambassadors help visitors find their way but they also help create lasting memories that tourists share with their friends across the globe. Meanwhile, the first cruise ship expected this summer at the Port of Corner Brook will be on June 14th.
