The city of Corner Brook has issued a tender for the supply & delivery of a new Tandem Aerial Ladder Fire Truck. Back in May, the city received confirmation that government was investing $1.5 million towards the purchase of a new ladder truck. Mayor Jim Parsons says the city has also set aside $300,000 for the truck. Parsons says the current truck is operational, but needs to be replaced.
