A Corner Brook based business is getting some funding to support the company’s promotion and development of fly-fishing experiences. Government is providing $46,305 to Tight Loops Tight Lines, which was launched by Kastine Coleman in 2018 with a goal of introducing more women and youth to the traditionally male-dominated sport of fly-fishing. Her angling lessons expanded into the world of multimedia. Her business model included a strong focus on videography and photography that helps broaden the operation's virtual footprint through film and written content. Her TV show, which airs on NTV and YouTube, profiles her business as well as others in the sector that share her commitment to high-quality experiences.
