The city’s share of the project is just over $3.6M.
At Monday’s public meeting, Corner Brook city council awarded a contract for a consultant on the over $13M Curling/Westside Reservoir and Transmission Main project. At the meeting, Councillor Donna Luther says this project is funded under the Canada Housing Infrastructure Fund (CHIF) and consists of building a new water storage tank, water pumping station and 2,400 meters of transmission main to expand the City's Water distribution system.
Close to $750K was awarded to CBCL Ltd. Assistant Director of Engineering, Aaron O’Brien, says they were pleased with the estimate. The city’s share of the project is just over $3.6M.
