    In Corner Brook, fireworks are only permitted this evening between the hours of 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m. on January 1.

New Year’s Eve celebrations often include fireworks, but residents should check with their local municipality to find out what the rules are. In Corner Brook, fireworks are only permitted this evening between the hours of 6:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m. on January 1. These hours are in place to make timing predictable for those with sensitivities to loud noises, and pets.  When discharging fireworks, have water nearby in case something goes wrong, do not discharge fireworks while intoxicated, and make sure a responsible adult is always present.
