Membership has grown to over 400

The Chief of the Benoit’s Cove Indian Band, or Elmastukwek First Nation, is putting out a call for people from the area to apply. Chief Terri Greene says since the band’s revival a year ago, they now have over 400 members. She says member numbers will grow as more become aware. Chief Greene says they just completed a two day beaded moccasin workshop over the weekend with 24 participants. She says they will have fly tying and ribbon skirt workshops soon.
