Applications are open for a new program for math teachers

    The Supporting Teachers/Educators in Lifelong Learning And Reflection (STELLAR) Program for Professional Learning in Mathematics is designed to be a flexible model to promote learning opportunities in mathematics education.

    Math teachers in the K-12 system can now apply for a redesigned and newly expanded program. The Supporting Teachers/Educators in Lifelong Learning And Reflection (STELLAR) Program for Professional Learning in Mathematics is designed to be a flexible model to promote learning opportunities in mathematics education. There are five funding streams available through the STELLAR Program including a K-12 mathematics bursary; Engaging in self-directed learning; Establishing a professional learning community; Participating in a mentorship program; and Attending an institute or conference. Applications must be submitted at least one month in advance of projected start dates. Fall applications for the K-12 Mathematics Bursary close October 31st.
