Tomorrow is a double ship day with the Fram and the Norwegian Joy both due to arrive in the morning and leave at 6pm.
The cruise ship that is docked in Corner Brook today is celebrating a first time visit to the city. Officials from the Corner Brook Port went onboard the Serenity this morning for a special plaque exchange with the Captain. Business Development Manager Jennifer Crane says the cruise season is at its peak now and there are still 16 more cruise ship visits on the docket for this year. Crane says there’s plenty of activity at the dock when the ships come in. The Serenity, which is in port today, is owned by Crystal Cruises. This high-end cruise line carries nearly 800 passengers and is 820 feet long. It will leave port at 4:30 today. Tomorrow, the Fram and the Norwegian Joy are both due to arrive in the morning and leave at 6pm.
