A section of the Corner Brook Stream Trail next to Crocker's Road (commonly known as the Gorge Trail) will be closed until further notice due to the Trans Canada Highway on-ramp construction. This also includes the upper trailhead of the Ginger Route Mountain Bike Trail. Brent Humphries is the Executive Director of the Corner Brook Stream Trail Corporation. He says the on ramp by Massey Drive has been closed for the past two years and will be for the next several months, since construction is underway now to redo the ramp. Meanwhile, Humphries says the trail network in Corner Brook is similar to what you see in larger urban centres. Motorists are asked to use caution when approaching this construction area.
