A school bus carrying children slides off the road near Little Rapids; no injuries reported

    Police say weather conditions had created patches of black ice. 

    A school bus carrying children slid off the road this morning near Little Rapids. RCMP say it happened around 8a.m. Corner Brook RCMP was dispatched to the report and say there were no injuries. Police say weather conditions had created patches of black ice.  As the bus was exiting the TCH into Little Rapids it slid off the roadway at a slow rate of speed.  Another bus attended the area and transported the children to school.
