Industry, Energy and Technology, Minister Andrew Parsons will be in Aberdeen, Scotland this week for the Offshore Europe Conference and Exhibition 2023. The Minister and a delegation from Newfoundland and Labrador will join Energy NL as it leads a joint Atlantic Canada Pavilion at the conference, which runs from September 5 to 8th. Energy NL is taking the lead on the pavilion, which was previously managed by the Maritimes Energy Association. The NL delegation includes more than 35 people, representing more than 10 companies. This year’s Offshore Europe theme is “Accelerating the transition to a better energy future.”.Much of the focus at this year’s conference will be on the transition towards net zero, with a focus on carbon capture technologies, as well as producing, transporting, storing and using low-carbon hydrogen.
