Corner Brook city hall has approved the construction of a new 6-unit apartment building at 101 Country Road. The matter was voted on during council’s regular meeting last night. Land at 4 Killick Place was discussed under Squatters Rights. The title of the property falls under the ownership of the crown and the owner is applying to acquire the land. As well, land at 108 Bayview Heights has been auctioned through a public tender.. Councillor Pam Gill says there was one bid of $52,500. Council also approved several home based businesses at various locations.
