Participants had a chance to network, meet with local, national and international organizations and industry leaders, who can, in turn, recruit students and graduates from two of the province’s public post-secondary institutions.
Students at the College of the North Atlantic (CNA) and Memorial University had the opportunity to meet some employers yesterday. It was all part of the 24th annual Career and Graduate School Fair in St. John’s. Employers, organizations, government agencies and post-secondary institutions from across North America gathered at MUN. Jeff Martin is the Director of Student Experience with CNA. He says participants had a chance to network, meet with local, national and international organizations and industry leaders, who can, in turn, recruit students and graduates from two of the province’s public post-secondary institutions. Martin says with a huge skills labour shortage, events like this help bridge the gaps between students and employers.
