Ruby Batsone says current addiction facilities like Humberwood are not enough.
There’s a demonstration at Confederation Building in St. John’s today to raise awareness for mental health and addictions. It gets underway at 2 pm and Ruby Batstone will be there. She says they want people to come out and help find a solution, which she believes is a provincial facility. Batsone says current addiction facilities like Humberwood are not enough. She says recent Naloxone kits being distributed throughout the province will help, but it’s just a band aid solution for now.
