    65-year-old missing hunter has been found, many involved in the search

    Bay St. George RCMP say 65-year-old Eugene Bungay was reported missing last Thursday ( October 9th).

    A happy ending to the search for a missing hunter from the Burgeo area. Bay St. George RCMP say 65-year-old Eugene Bungay was reported missing last Thursday ( October 9th). His vehicle was located on Route 480 which prompted a search of that area. Bay of Islands Volunteer Search and Rescue helped, along with the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre, the provincial Air Services Division and volunteers of the Burgeo, Barachois, Stephenville, Bonne Bay and Deer Lake Ground Search and Rescue teams.
