A 40-year-old man is facing charges after being stopped by Deer Lake RCMP on Sunday. Police were called to a suspected impaired snowmobiler on Incinerator Road in Cormack around 10 a.m but could not locate the suspect. A second report was received and police located the operator at the Esso in Cormack. The man provided breath samples that were more than two and a half times the legal limit. He was released from custody and is set to appear in court at a later date. His licence was suspended.
