For the second time in as many days, a 22 year-old St. John’s man is facing charges after RNC say he took off when they tried to pull him over.
Police found the car a short distance later in the ditch in the Team Gushue Highway area. The driver and a female passenger were taken to hospital for non-life threatening injuries. This happened on Friday, but the accused was also wanted in connection with the same list of charges regarding an event that occurred in St. John’s two days before. He’s been charged with flight from police, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle while prohibited, breach of a release order, and breach of probation order.
