The start of a new school is exciting for most young minds, but for some first time post secondary students, it can come with a lot of change; being in a new community away from home, the freedom of becoming an adult and meeting new people. Brooke Eason is heading into her fourth year of Psychology at Grenfell Campus. She dropped by Bayfm to talk about Academic Prep Week that attracted over 70 new students. Eason says this wasn’t an option when she first started university. She says there will be many events on campus during the month of September. Her best advice for new students is “don’t stress and have fun.” Grenfell Campus hosted a “Family Orientation” event on Sunday.
