    Crippling trade tariffs scheduled to take effect Tuesday February 4 have been “paused” for 30 days in a dramatic last-minute reprieve.
    Prime Minister Justin Trudeau made the announcement on the X social media platform. Corner Brook Mayor Jim Parsons dropped by Bay FM and spoke a little bit about how trade tariffs would affect day to day operation of the city and the importance of shopping local.
