Some west coast communities have joined in an effort to attract and keep more visitors in the area with the launch of a new Humber Bay of Islands regional brand identity. Corner Brook’s Supervisor of Tourism, Glenda Simms, tells Bayfm’s Lenny Benoit, the goal is to take 13 communities and make it one region for marketing and collaborating for tourists. The new brand unites the communities of Cox's Cove, McIvers, Gillams, Meadows, Irishtown-Summerside, Hughes Brook, Steady Brook, Corner Brook, Massey Drive, Mount Moriah, Humber Arm South, York Harbour, and Lark Harbour.
