Youth aged 12-17 can sign up for a Youth Outdoor Skills Workshop at the Rod and Gun club in Deer Lake

    A session will be held at the Upper Humber Rod and Gun Club on Saturday, June 21st.

    The Department of Fisheries, Forestry and Agriculture is partnering with rod and gun clubs, including Deer Lake, to offer Youth Outdoor Skills Workshops for those aged 12 to 17. A session will be held at the Upper Humber Rod and Gun Club on Saturday, June 21st. This includes hands-on learning in wildlife conservation, firearm safety, rifle and shotgun shooting basics, archery, outdoor survival, orienteering, and wildlife identification. Participants must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. To register or for more information contact the Wildlife Division at 709-637-2025
