The Department of Fisheries, Forestry and Agriculture is partnering with rod and gun clubs, including Deer Lake, to offer Youth Outdoor Skills Workshops for those aged 12 to 17. A session will be held at the Upper Humber Rod and Gun Club on Saturday, June 21st. This includes hands-on learning in wildlife conservation, firearm safety, rifle and shotgun shooting basics, archery, outdoor survival, orienteering, and wildlife identification.
