Woman loses vehicle and drivers license at a traffic stop in Corner Brook Friday late night

    The operator, a 28-year-old woman from Corner Brook, was found to have a blood alcohol concentration in contravention of the Highway Traffic Act.

    The RNC conducted a traffic stop in Corner Brook late last Friday (Oct 4th) night and pulled over a driver doing a high rate of speed in the Main Street area. Cst James Cadigan says the operator, a 28-year-old woman from Corner Brook, was found to have a blood alcohol concentration in contravention of the Highway Traffic Act. The woman’s vehicle was seized and her drivers license was suspended. 

    The RNC is urging the public to report unsafe driving behaviours directly to police. Anyone with information is asked to call 911. To report anonymously, contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477)
