The Western Regional Hospital Foundation’s Radiothon will take place at BayFM on September 29th from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m.
When someone mentions radiothon, people here at BayFM tend to get excited. The Western Regional Hospital Foundation’s Radiothon has been on the go for the past 30 years. Executive Director Suzanne Carey says the foundation depends on the generosity of western and northern Newfoundland. “The $607 and change will go towards a number of items, such as the CRRT, which is a Contunious Renal Replacement Therapy” she says. “Patients who needed renal treatment had to be sent to St. John’s and it’s better if they can stay home to receive treatment.” The Western Regional Hospital Foundation’s Radiothon will take place at BayFM on September 29th from 7 a.m. until 5 p.m.
