It’s a cause near and dear to all of our hearts. The Western Regional Hospital Foundation has announced this year’s “case for support.” Executive Director Suzanne Carey says over 625 thousand dollars is the goal to raise this year in order to buy necessary medical equipment. She says the big change this year is that the decades old Western Regional Hospital Foundation’s Radiothon will now take place on BayFM. Carey says there are several pieces of equipment needed that cost over 100 thousand dollars each. Tune into BayFM on September 29th from 7a.m. until 5 p.m.
