If there’s one thing Newfoundlanders and Labradorians like, it’s a good game of darts. That also means there are a lot of skilled players throughout the province. Starting next month, the Western Newfoundland Dart Association is bringing back the Corner Brook Premier League. Jamie Griffin says this is the second year for the event. The ladies division will start April 15th and the mens league will be the next night at the Royal Canadian Legion. Nelson Tobin won the mens division last year and is also a member of the defending Canadian team. Players will play for nine weeks on Tuesdays and Wednesdays followed by playoffs. There will be twenty boards set up for play.
