Website launched so NL residents can have a say about Churchill Falls and the MOU with Hydro-Quebec

    The purpose is to evaluate whether the agreement is in the province’s best long-term interests.

    NL residents now have an option to have their voices heard in discussions on the Churchill River and Hydro-Quebec. The Independent Churchill River Review Committee has launched a new website in its assessment of the Memorandum of Understanding with Hydro-Québec. The purpose is to evaluate whether the agreement is in the province’s best long-term interests. Submissions must be received by Saturday, March 1st and can be emailed to submissions@churchillriverreview.ca. To learn more, go churchillriverreview.ca.
