PSD Noah assisted with the search of the residence and buildings on a Grand Falls-Windsor property and police seized a quantity of cocaine, Zopiclone, an imitation hand gun, cash, and other drug paraphernalia.
Here’s a recent story about a Police Service Dog sniffing out crime. RCMP Cpl Jesse O’Donaghey says PSD Noah helped find cocaine and more this past Friday during a search on a Grand Falls-Windsor house. RCMP West District GIS and Grand Falls-Windsor RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence in Grand Falls-Windsor. PSD Noah assisted with the search of the residence and buildings on the property. During the search, police seized a quantity of cocaine, Zopiclone, an imitation hand gun, cash, and other drug paraphernalia.
O’Donaghey says a 26-year-old male was arrested and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine. He was released from custody to appear in court at a later date.
Meanwhile, O’Donaghey says earlier this year, police issued a public warning, advising that cocaine is the current leading cause of overdose deaths in the province. Naloxone is ineffective in combating cocaine overdose. If you suspect someone is overdosing on cocaine, immediately seek medical attention.
