    Shutoffs will happen nightly from 9:00 p.m. – 6:30 a.m and daily from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Water shutoffs are back in place for the town of Hughes Brook and a conservation order is still in effect. Due to critically low water levels, the town has reinstated scheduled water shutoffs as of last night. Shutoffs will happen nightly from 9:00 p.m. – 6:30 a.m and daily from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. This is necessary to protect what remains of the water supply and help the dam recover. Residents are reminded to not water lawns or wash cars, run dishwashers only when full and turn off taps when not in use. Council is monitoring dam levels daily and will update residents if conditions change.
