Andrew Pierce says a rear round service could be coming this year by winter or early 2026. He says “Domestic travel is at an all-time high”
The vice-president of Porter Airlines is looking at offering a year-round service from the Deer Lake Regional Airport to Toronto Pearson. The company launched a new non-stop route from Deer Lake to Toronto this week. Andrew Pierce says a rear round service could be coming this year by winter or early 2026. He says “Domestic travel is at an all-time high”
The new non stop flights will continue throughout the summer and end mid September. Pierce says passengers will travel on their new Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, with no middle seat and a great onboard service with complimentary wi-fi. For more information, visit www.flyporter.com.
