Two impaired drivers arrested in Stephenville over the weekend

    On Sunday at 10:30 a.m. police arrested a 51 year old Maidstone man on Carolina Avenue in Stephenville. He blew nearly twice the legal limit, was on parole, and had an open container of booze in the vehicle. 

    RCMP Traffic Services West arrested two impaired drivers in the Bay St. George area over the weekend. Police say on Friday around 10 p.m., a 66 year old man from Lourdes was arrested on Main Street and taken to the Stephenville detachment for breath samples. He was released to appear in court at a later date, but also charged for not having registration or insurance. 

    On Sunday at 10:30 a.m. police arrested a 51 year old Maidstone man on Carolina Avenue in Stephenville. He blew nearly twice the legal limit, was on parole, and had an open container of booze in the vehicle.  The man was also ticketed for no insurance or registration.
